Chapter 4: Engagement Analytics & Intelligence
Capturing a lead is only the first step; understanding what products, documents, and videos that lead engaged with after leaving your booth is what closes deals. BoothMaven’s Analytics & Insights module (/tracking/analytics-and-insights) provides deep, real-time engagement intelligence broken down across two vital dimensions: Engagement by Contact and Engagement by Content.4.1 High-Level Performance Metrics
The analytics overview banner displays core performance indicators across your published digital assets:- Total Views — Overall aggregate views across all digital business cards, product pages, and microsites.
- Engagement Rate (%) — Percentage of visitors who took active follow-up actions (downloaded PDFs, clicked outbound links, watched videos, booked meetings).
- Average Time Spent — Mean session duration attendees spent exploring your digital materials.
- Shares & Downloads — Total PDF downloads and peer-to-peer card shares executed by visitors.
- Known Contacts vs Anonymous Views — Distinguishes between identified leads with contact profiles and anonymous traffic.
4.2 Engagement Analytics by Contact
Under the Overview / Contact Engagement tab, BoothMaven tracks how each individual prospect interacts with your materials over time. This transforms passive contact records into prioritized, intent-driven sales opportunities. 📸 Engagement Analytics by Contact Insert screenshot of the Contact Engagement table showing lead names, engagement tier badges (Hot, Warm, Cool), scores, views, and actions.Contact Engagement Metrics & Tiers
- Engagement Score (0–100) — A dynamic score calculated based on the frequency, recency, and depth of content interactions.
- Engagement Tier Badges: 🔥 Hot — Highly engaged prospects with frequent return visits, multiple document downloads, or meeting requests. Prioritize for immediate sales calls.
- ✏️ Warm — Moderate interest; prospect viewed collateral once or twice and explored product links.
- ⚙️ Cool — Low engagement; minimal interaction following the initial booth scan. Ideal for nurture sequences. Views & Actions Count — Exact count of page opens and high-value actions (brochure downloads, link clicks) triggered by that specific contact. Event Tag & Last Active — Associated trade show and relative timestamp of their most recent interaction (e.g. “2 hours ago”). Direct Quick Actions — Click View to open their complete profile or click Reach Out to initiate a direct follow-up email or call while their interest is fresh. Filter & Sort — Filter contacts by All, Hot, Warm, or Cool; sort by Most Engaged, Most Recent, or Most Views.
4.3 Engagement Analytics by Content
The Content Activity tab flips the lens from who is looking to what is being looked at. It provides a granular, visit-by-visit audit of how attendees consume your digital cards, brochures, and microsites. 📸 Engagement Analytics by Content Insert screenshot of the Content Activity timeline showing visit sessions, expandable micro-action logs, and download indicators.Granular Visit Session Stream
Content activity is grouped by distinct visitor sessions:- Visitor Identification — Displays the visitor’s name, company, and avatar for Known Contacts, or an Anonymous Visitor indicator when an unregistered user explores a public QR code.
- Expandable Activity Breakdown — Click any session card to expand the full chronological log of micro-actions within that visit: “Viewed Business Card” (with eye icon and timestamp)
- “Downloaded Product Brochure PDF” (with download icon and timestamp)
- “Clicked Company Website URL” (with external link icon and timestamp)
- “Played Product Demo Video” (with video icon and duration) Anonymous Visitor Intelligence — Anonymous scans still provide valuable insights on booth footfall and asset popularity, showing which physical flyers or booth displays generated the highest traffic volume.
